Letters to Strangers - MDRT Foundation invests in Mental Health through Letters to Strangers partnership

After a successful 2023 Top of the Table charity partnership, the MDRT Foundation leadership was motivated to continue the dialogue on mental health by bringing Founder and President Diana Chao to the 2024 MDRT Annual Meeting.

Letters to Strangers (L2S) is the largest global youth-run nonprofit seeking to destigmatize mental illness and increase access to affordable, quality treatment. Through anonymous letter-writing exchanges, L2S facilitates person-to-person human connection to address the loneliness of mental illness. Their peer education and advocacy programs further their efforts in the larger community.

At the meeting, MDRT members packed workshop materials for over 500 youth in 11 countries. In total, $240,547 was donated to Letters to Strangers by the MDRT Foundation.
