MDRT Global Conference

Globally, 2.3 billion people lack basic handwashing facilities and do not have access to soap, toiletries or menstrual health products. The MDRT Foundation is proud to partner with Surge for Water at the 2024 MDRT Global Conference and will be hosting a drive to collect much-needed hygiene products.

Surge For Water’s mission focuses on providing safe water, sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health solutions. By working hand in hand with the communities they serve, Surge provides sustainable water solutions, builds latrine blocks and runs various educational programs to help end the cycle of poverty.

The hygiene products collected will be distributed to communities in Uganda.

MDRT members can drop products off at the MDRT Foundation booth located in the ConneXion Zone. Hygiene products needed:

• Soap bars
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrushes
• Nail clippers
• Disposable or reusable sanitary pads
• Packs of girls’ cotton underwear (there is a great need for this)
